Bruges, Belgium

If you are planning to visit Belgium, and you're looking for a small city different than Brussels or Antwerp, visit Bruges. In March 2017 my boyfriend and I drove to Bruges by car. I hadn't been in Belgium for, not even kidding, a week. Because I just came back from Paris the week before. I've visited Belgium plenty of times before, but not Bruges. Anyways, we were looking for a small cute city to go to for a couple of days. So we went to Bruges. 

I immediately fell in love with this cute city. In Amsterdam it was raining a lot, but the sun came out when we arrived in Bruges. All the little buildings and rooftops were so cute and of course we loved the Belgium beer... If you'd like to visit Bruges, go to the big square called 'Grote Markt'. It has a lot of nice restaurants with terraces in the sun. There's also a beer brewery.

It's funny to be in another country and be traveling while the people speak the same language as you do. Dutch. We stayed at the Ibis hotel, which was really clean with friendly staff, I'd definitely recommend it. We finished our trip of course eating some famous fries and we enjoyed the sun.
